Movistar Riders are Champions of ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023

Movistar Riders beat Bad News Eagles in the final and became the champions of ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023!

In the final, the Spaniards from Movistar Riders beat the Bad News Eagles 2:0. Movistar Riders took home $50,000 and 1,000 BLAST Premier points. And best of all, the team received a direct invite to the ESL Pro League Season 18!

The first round of the final was held on the Anubis map, which the Spaniards closed without any problems with a score of 16:10.

  
  

Next came Ancient, which was already more difficult for Movistar Riders, but they also calmly closed their opponents on it with a score of 16:13.

  
  

But this was their second meeting at the championship. More details are below.

The MVP of the championship deservedly becomes Alejandro mopoz Fernandez-Keho Cano! He had tremendous individual indicators and finished with a 7.0 rating!

How was the tournament for the Spaniards?

Initially, Movistar Riders got into Group B, including Bad News Eagles, Rare Atom, and VERTEX.
