Movistar Riders shock Liquid at ESL Pro League

Day 3 of Group C at ESL Pro League continues, and another match has come to a close.

Movistar Riders faced Liquid. Previously, Movistar Riders surprised viewers with their win over Players, while Liquid won two matches in a row.

Movistar Riders picked Inferno and failed to start the map confidently. Liquid won nine rounds on the CT side. The Spanish squad tried to come back but weren’t able to finish the game. The map ended 16-14 in favor of Liquid.

Liquid chose Mirage, and the first half was a disaster for the American team. Movistar Riders didn’t give any space to their opponents, winning 13 rounds on the CT side. Liquid returned to the game in the second half, but it was not enough, and the Spanish team won the map 16-12.

The decider was Ancient. Liquid started the map with a confident performance taking nine rounds on the CT side. However, after the sides switched, Movistar Riders managed to transfer the game into overtime. The first series decided the winner. The Spanish squad finished the map 19-16.

Movistar Riders take the third victory in a row, while Liquid suffer from the first defeat.
