NAVI demolish VP, Heroic survive against Vitality in Round 2

Two more games in the second round.

With the second round of the Legends stage at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 nearing the end, it was time to play two more big matches to set up the best of three series before the next round of play.

Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro traded rounds in the beginning of Overpass, but once NAVI got a half buy to get ahead “4-3”, it was nearly the end of the line. The number one team in the world ran away with the first half to post up a “11-4” score before closing the game out, “16-4” and coming one step closer to a yet another playoff appearance at the Majors.

Heroic started strong on Overpass against Team Vitality, as they led “6-3”, but the French unit still reduced the gap to one before the break. A back and forth battle in the second half was decided in the clutches, as the Danes reigned supreme, “16-12” to improve to “1-1” in Stockholm.

With only two games being left to play on the day, things are heating up at the Swedish event.
