NAVI "2-1" over OG, one step closer to the BLAST Premier Fall Finals

An expected victory for the favourites.

First step on the road to the next title.

Opening the group C at the BLAST Premier Fall were Natus Vincere, the reigning number one team in the world and OG, who have recently posted a semifinals appearance during the ESL Pro League Season 14 and looked to build up on that performance.

Starting on Overpass, arguably the worst map for the CIS team in their pool, it surely did not look like that, as NAVI stormed to the seven rounds lead at the break on the defence, before posting another five on the offence for the “16-4” win. Moving to Dust2, Natus Vincere looked to close the series with a “8-7” lead at halftime, but OG did not tap out despite being “10-12” down at one point, as they equalized the score with a “16-13”. Mirage, however, did not turn out to be a game either, as Natus Vincere once again pushed to a “11-4” lead and ended the series with a “16-8” victory and a “2-1” series win.

Natus Vincere might clinch a spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals with a win on Saturday over either FaZe Clan or Complexity Gaming, while OG will try and avoid dropping to the Fall Showdown in the game against a loser of that game.
