NIP advance to Legends stage; Astralis advance to PGL Major Antwerp 2022

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR B has come to a close, and the last spots at the Major have been distributed.

Firstly, ENCE faced NIP in the battle for the spot in the Legends stage.

ENCE picked Nuke and NIP showed dominance on the opponents’ choice. The Swedish team won 11 rounds on the CT side and didn’t let go after the sides switched. The map ended 16-8 in favor of NIP.

The situation on the NIP’s pick was quite the opposite. ENCE seized an early advantage and quickly finished the game, making it 16-9.

However, NIP showed themselves on the decider. The Swedish team won 10 rounds on the CT side. After the sides switched, NIP didn’t hesitate and finished the game 16-7.

NIP get the spot in the Legends stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, while ENCE are going to start the Major from the Challengers stage.

Secondly, Astralis faced HEET in the clash for the spot in the Challengers stage.

HEET picked Dust 2 and lost the first half 10-5. However, HEET made a comeback after the sides switched, taking down Astralis 16-13.

Astralis chose Ancient. The map was intense and close, but Astralis looked stronger in the second half of the map finishing it 16-14.

The decider was Nuke, and Astralis showed the domination on that map. The Danish team won 11 rounds in the second half. After the sides switched, HEET tried to return to the game, but it was not enough, and Astralis finished the game 16-11.

Astralis take the spot in the Challengers stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, while HEET leave the RMR event one step away from the Major.
