NIP advance to the semifinal of IEM Winter 2021 beating GODSENT

IEM Winter 2021 playoff has started and the first match has been finished. NIP beat GODSENT in the first quarter-final of the day.

The first map was picked by NIP and it was Nuke. The Swedish team played their game on this map. There was no space for GODSENT while NIP were on the CT side. Brazilian mix tried to come back in the second half but this attempt wasn’t successful and NIP finished Nuke with a score of 16-10.

However, NIP didn’t have any chance on Overpass. GODSENT dominated their pick on the CT side and the Swedish team wasn’t able to come back in the second half. GODSENT destroyed their opponent with a score of 16-8.

NIP didn’t lose their confidence and played the last map with a full focus. This Ancient was not a place for GODSENT. NIP did their best and won the map with a score of 16-8 taking the win in the match.

GODSENT are leaving the tournament with a decent result, while NIP are preparing for the semi-final where they will face G2.
