NiP "2-0" BIG, to face G2 for the slot at BLAST Premier Fall Finals

Winning without their coach.

A nearly stellar performance.

In the second match of the day, Ninjas in Pyjamas, fresh off their quarterfinals finish at the ESL Pro League Season 14, went against BIG, who looked decent during the EPL group stage, but could not make it out to the playoffs.

Going to Dust2, NiP proved that they are here to play, as the Scandinavian squad played a solid defence, switching to the offence with a seven rounds lead. In the end that deficit was too much for BIG despite the furious rally by the German team in the second half, as NiP took their opponent’s pick, “16-9”. Moving to Inferno, Ninjas in Pyjamas, once again, controlled the economy in the beginning but BIG did not tap out and reduced the deficit to only three, but it was all NiP in the second half, as the game ended with a “16-6” scoreline for the “2-0” series win.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will face G2 Esports for a chance to qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals tomorrow, while BIG are going to clash with MIBR to stay in the event and not drop down to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
