NIP crush Movistar Riders to enter IEM Katowice group stage

Another match at IEM Katowice Play-In ends, and another team have qualified for the main event.

NIP faced Movistar Riders, who are replacing Complexity at the tournament. NIP fell from the upper bracket while Movistar Riders made their way up from the first round of the lower bracket.

Movistar Riders picked Vertigo and showed decent performance on the T side. However, NIP did an even better job after the sides switched, winning the first map 16-9.

NIP decided to play Overpass and didn’t give any chance to the Spaniards. The Swedish team didn’t give any space to Movistar Riders finishing the game with a score of 16-6.

NIP advance to the main event while Movistar Riders leave the tournament.
