The Nouns Club Will Continue to Exist — NFT Owners Will Raise the Necessary Funds
The American esports organization Nouns will continue its activities until at least 2024. Owners of club NFTs held an open vote in which they decided to continue financing the teams.
Earlier, information appeared on the Internet that the Nouns organization needs significant financial investments — $795 000 for all club projects. These investments of the North American organization would be enough until the end of 2023. The club leaders organized an open vote, in which it was necessary to obtain a quorum of 15%, depending on the number of "against" votes.
On the morning of April 12, owners of NFT made by the organization held an open vote in which they decided to continue the club's financial support.
Why should Nouns continue their existence?
Recently, the organization's CS:GO and Dota 2 teams have achieved good results. In CS, the team successfully qualified for IEM Dallas 2023, and also qualified for BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2023. At the American RMR for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, the team stopped short of hitting the Major.
The Dota 2 roster also demonstrates a decent game. For the second season in a row, the team takes third place in the first division of the North American league Dota Pro Circuit. Last year, the team qualified for The International but failed to advance to the main stage of the championship.
Strategy
In the report, Nouns managers shared plans for financing the club. They plan to abandon cooperation with bookmakers, preferring their projects to advertise esports products. Some of these projects have already been launched and are being implemented.
