It's Official: XELLOW Has Joined Sprout

Sprout revealed their new sniper.

Sprout officially announced the signing of Adrian XELLOW Guta as a sniper.

The organization announced the signing on Twitter. XELLOW will replace Fritz slaxz- Dietrich, who left the team at the end of last year.

He has waited a long time to prove what he is made of and will finally be able to do so under the banner of Sprout. We have no doubt that he will succeed with his skill set and cannot wait to see our team flourish in the future.

XELLOW vs. Slaxz-: Who Is Better?

Slaxz- is still not officially signed by any of the team, so it's safe to say that it was Sprout who kicked the player off the roster. Was it worth it?

Slaxz- showed a decent level of play in Sprout. The sniper coped with his tasks but often failed. Because of this, his average rating is 6.1, which is not high enough for a sniper. Most likely, this is precisely why Sprout decided to replace it.

So, how much is XELLOW better than slaxz-? Before Sprout, XELLOW played on the tier-3 scene, sometimes hitting tier-2. And at the same time, the Romanian showed a magnificent game. In many ways, the Nexus team kept winning, thanks to the sniper. The average rating of XELLOW is 7, which is a very high result.

As an argument against the replacement, you can cite that slaxz- played against much stronger opponents. However, recently Sprout played 2-tier and 3-tier tournaments, in which slaxz didn't shine. Therefore, the replacement was necessary.

What To Expect From Sprout?

Last year, Sprout got the most important achievement in the organization's history: they went to the Legends stage of the IEM Rio Major 2022. They even won one game on the group stage. The team wants to continue to show such results because the Legends of the Major for the tier-2 team is an incredible result.

And that's why Sprout makes spot substitutions, which are undoubtedly helpful for the team. XELLOW strengthened the team because he is a promising strong sniper who will support the team in the short and long term.

You should expect high results from Sprout in the 2023 season and especially pay attention to the team at RMR tournaments.

When Will It Be Possible to See Sprout?
