OverDrive Thoughts Regarding Players Selection to Spirit: "ArtFr0st Showed Second Result After w0nderful"

Well-known insider Alexander OverDrive Biryukov provides some info about other players who were tested for the Spirit team sniper role. The team also considered Artem ArtFr0st Kharitonov for this role. It appeared to be that Igor w0nderful Zhdanov was more successful due to a better in-game orientation and unregular game choices. Among all tested players, ArtFr0st showed the second result after w0nderful. Artem Kharitonov was way more powerful than anyone we tried. Still, in some situations, Igor was more confident, made a hard kill, did an effective exchange, and had better in-game orientation. He is a more open-minded player than ArtFr0st, who's still very good at AIM and communication. Unfortunately, Artem wasn't very good at exchanges and couldn't show a necessary level of in-game orientation. Alexander OverDrive Biryukov The team assigned a contract with w0nderful on July 17. He came into the place of the former sniper Abdul degster Gasanova, who decided not to move to Belgrad. The overall rating of w0nderful (6.8) was slightly higher than degster's (6.6). Still, it's essential to remember that the Ukrainian player never took part in tear-1 tournaments. The first renewed Spirit squad match will take place at IEM Cologne on July 5.
