The Paris Major has become the third most popular CS:GO Major in history, with a peak of 1.5 million viewers

The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 ranked in the top three Majors in terms of peak viewership, trailing behind the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

According to data from the statistical portal Esports Charts, the final of the Paris Major between Vitality and GamerLegion was watched by 1.5 million viewers, which is nearly half the viewership of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 final featuring NAVI and G2.

One possible reason for this gap could be the fact that the combined fan base of Vitality and GamerLegion is significantly smaller than that of NAVI, G2, and FaZe. In Stockholm in 2021, two legendary players, NiKo and s1mple, faced off, both of whom had not yet won a Major championship. This storyline attracted more viewers.

The ranking of the most popular CS:GO Majors is unlikely to change, as the next Major of such status will be held in March 2024 in Stockholm, featuring CS2.
