PGL CEO Silviu Stroye called his company the only profitable tournament operator.

I firmly believe, and others can see this, that we are the only tournament organizer that makes a profit. The rest of the market has old debts, losses, and loans. So this puts us in a position where we are, as the Americans say, very mobile.
