Players advance to PGL Major Antwerp 2022; Sangal eliminated

The second of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR B progresses, and the first team have acquired the spot in the Legends stage.

Firstly, ASG faced Sangal. Both teams had 0-2 on their record after day 1.

The match started with Inferno, picked by Sangal. And ASG showed total domination in the first half. The team won 13 rounds on the T side. After the sides switched, Sangal showed resistance, but the difference was enormous, and ASG won the first map 16-9.

ASG picked Ancient and continued their domination. The CIS team didn’t give any chance to their opponents and finished the game 16-5.

ASG survive with 1-2 on their record, while Sangal leave the event without a single win.

Secondly, Astralis faced Players. Both teams looked strong, destroying their opponents on day 1.

Astralis picked Ancient and suffered difficulties in the first half, losing it 8-7. After the sides switched, the game stayed close, but Players managed to win 16-13.

Players chose Dust 2. The first half was difficult for both teams, ending 7-8. However, Astralis took down Players in the second half finishing the game 16-12.

The decider was Inferno, and it started as close as other maps. However, after the sides switched, Players destroyed their opponents, winning the last map of the standoff 16-8.

Players take the spot in the Legends stage of PGL Major Antwerp, while Astralis stay at the RMR event with 2-1 on their record.
