Results of IEM Dallas: Day 1

The group stage of IEM Dallas has begun, two teams have already left the tournament, and now we can sum up the results of the first day.

Group A.

On the first day of the tournament, more matches were played in Group A, so two squads have already been eliminated from the tournament. These teams were Encore and Movistar Riders, both squads did not win a single map. Encore lost to Astralis in the lower bracket, Movistar Riders were knocked out by MOUZ.

And the best teams in Group A were ENCE and FaZe. Both squads did not lose a map and advanced to the final of Group A. One of these teams will get to the semi-finals of the playoffs.

Group B.

Only one round was played in Group B and according to its results Cloud9, FURIA, BIG and MIBR advanced to the upper semi-finals of the group, while Imperial, Liquid, NIP and Complexity fell into the lower bracket.

Today, the group stage will continue and 4 more teams will leave the event.
