Rumors: G2 Esports will sign GamerLegion’s captain

GamerLegion’s captain Kamil siuhy Shkaradek may join G2 Esports. The German Cs Leaks insider on Twitter shared information about this.

Who will be replaced by siuhy?

The insider does not specify who will be replaced by Shkaradek in G2. Most likely, siuhy will replace Rasmus HooXi Nielsen, since, in GamerLegion, he plays the role of captain. Earlier, various CS analysts asked Nielsen to be replaced by someone else. At the time of article publication, G2 has not announced replacements in the roster.

Why does the G2 need reshuffles?

After an excellent start to the season and victory at IEM Katowice 2023, HooXi’s team gradually lost its form. The final straw that led to discussions about possible replacements was the team's failure at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: G2 didn't even make it to the playoffs. The team finished on the Legends stage with a 1:3 record and, as a result, left the championship, taking 12-14th place.

Next tournament

The next competition for G2 will be IEM Dallas 2023, which will be held from May 29 to June 4 in the USA. G2 was seeded in Group A, where they will face Nouns Esports in the first round.
