s1mple and four Vitality players made it into the "dream team" of IEM Rio 2023

The recently concluded IEM Rio 2023 ended with Vitality beating Heroic. The French team showed that they are not willing to give up the top spot to foreign teams at the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 in May. In fact, four Vitality players made it to our "Dream Team" of the Brazilian tournament.

MVP - ZywOo

ZywOo, with a rating of 6.9, rightfully earned his fourteenth MVP medal in his esports career at the tournament. He is in excellent form and ready to dominate at the upcoming Paris Major. Even if he didn't become the best player of the tournament for some reason, he would have made our list as a clutcher, making nine clutches, including a 1v4 pistol round.

Sniper - s1mple

NAVI has failed to reach the finals of a tier-1 tournament for the third time in a row. However, this time, such a result cannot be solely attributed to s1mple, even though he made some mistakes in the semifinals against Heroic. In the end, he became the leader in AWP kills with a score of 0.472.

Entry Fragger - dupreeh

Despite the fact that a certain number of CS:GO esports fans predicted that the 26-year-old Dane, dupreeh, would soon be removed from the roster, the player had a decent tournament in terms of individual performance. He even managed to become the best entry fragger, surpassing Spinx - 0.136 versus 0.133.

Clutcher - Spinx

The Israeli not only scored 6.7 rating points at IEM Rio 2023, but also showed himself to be a stable rifler-lurker. Nevertheless, he made it to our "Dream Team" today as a clutcher - Spinx won three 1v1 situations and an equal number of 1v2 clutches.

Support - apEX

Despite not often becoming the top fragger, apEX's usefulness is not in being a star player. In addition to his captaincy duties, he skillfully handled grenades at IEM Rio 2023. His flashbangs were effective, as were his HE grenades - the average damage from this type of weapon was 7.13.
