s1mple: "There is no Source 2 (yet)"
Are we all hoping in vain for the desired update?
Natus Vincere sniper Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev commented on rumors about the imminent release of either the Source 2 engine or a full-fledged CS:GO sequel, saying that it was all just bait from representatives of the esports community.
There is no Source 2 (yet), and the developers have not given anyone a beta version. All of this was just bait from pro players and streamers.

So will we see Source 2 in Counter-Strike?
Knowing Oleksandr and how he likes to troll sometimes, should we take his words at face value in this case? Surely, by the end of the month, fans of the game will be able to verify the truth of the existence of CS:GO Source 2/CS2 or the truthfulness of s1mple's words. Just at the end of March, according to Richard Lewis' information, the long-awaited update should be released. Not all rumors about the update are really true, but there is a high probability that Kostyliev is just baiting as well.
