The esports community of Ukraine did not stand aside from the war. Ukrainian clubs Monte та NAVI continue to contribute, either through fundraising or by purchasing vehicles for the needs of the front lines. Former manager of the "yellow-blacks," Igor "caff" Sydorenko, is currently serving in the army.

Even members of the community from other countries have joined in defending the lands of Ukraine and defeating the aggressor. One such person is Swedish volunteer Lucas "Tenshi" Kollard, who is a esports commentator specializing in StarCraft2.
