A 13-year-old CS:GO player from Sweden has received an invitation to join the FPL-C

The young Swedish player, known by the nickname MaiL09cs, has an ELO rating of 4300.

MaiL09cs is also a Twitch streamer and has previously received praise from smooya. He has competed in tournaments for Lilmix alongside other esports players who were only two years older.

Every year, there are more cases of young talents making their way into the professional scene, whether it's through academy teams or mixed lineups. The most notable example is m0NESY, who joined one of NAVI's junior rosters at the age of 14. We can also recall headtr1ck and froz1k, who joined the Ukrainian youth teams at a similar age. Let's not forget about Jimpphat, sergej's younger brother, who currently represents MOUZ NXT.

These episodes involving young esports athletes are becoming more common thanks to the increasing prestige of esports and more progressive parents, many of whom may have played CS 1.6 or other competitive games during their youth. The recognition of esports as an official sport in several countries also adds some credibility and reassurance for parents raising children in this field. MaiL09cs's family understands and supports his passion, actively participating in vlogs with him on YouTube.
