The conflict between Monte and FORZE continues

After today's match between the Ukrainian team Monte and the russian team FORZE at the BLAST Paris Major 2023 CS:GO tournament, a long discussion erupted online and is still ongoing!

It should be noted that in today's match, Monte and FORZE fought for a score of 2:1, in which the latter turned out to be stronger and won Ancient with a score of 16:6.

After that, a verbal altercation between the players started on Twitter. The first to receive useless words from the Russians was Sergiy Demqq Demchenko, as FORZE team captain Andrey Jerry Mekhryakov wrote the following on his Twitter:

Good game against our opponents. Now we're 2-1 in the bracket. I guess the time for Akuma radars is over, right Demqq?

To which Sergiy responded:

I think you should have written that on the RMR. Oh, I forgot, you put your mouth in your ass, right?

Monte organization also supported the player, stating:

You're just stupid. Keep sponsoring the killings of peaceful civilians in a neighboring country and laugh about it. You have no place in the civilized world.

It should be reminded that on the RMR qualifying championship for the BLAST Paris Major 2023, Monte and FORZE already faced each other in a tough battle. Then, the Ukrainians were able to calmly close the russians 2:0!

By the way, Jerry played the worst that time. He finished the match with an average rating of 5.0!

But then hell broke loose!

FORZE sniper Alexander Zorte Zagodyrenko stated:

Guys, let's not make any political jokes, I am against violence. All of my relatives are from Ukraine, I was also born and lived there for some time. Most of them still live there. Don't overreact in any direction. Take a deep breath and go make some tea. Calm down. We're going to eat, so don't freak out.

To which Apeks player Justin jL Lekavichus replied:

Monte organization also responded to this tweet:

They say this because they weren't here in Ukraine. They didn't see this horror, they didn't lose their loved ones. My friend, today I woke up at 5 a.m. and ran into the entrance of my building because a rocket flew over my house in Kyiv and then exploded. It's terrible. Thank you for supporting Ukraine!

And in the end, the most ardent patriot of the ruzki world, namely anatoly liTTle yashin, came forward, it became another fuel to the fire.

Here's what Anatoly said:

What's going on FORZE & Monte. You both deserve to make it to the playoffs, but please stop. LMBT, I know how you feel... I know everyone in real life, guys, just do it without pressure.

It should be reminded that anatoly's Steam account, which he uses every day, looks like this:

Why is FORZE a rival for Monte?

Of course, against the backdrop of the war unleashed by russia, it is essential for Ukrainian players to beat russians.

This is the main reason, but there are also several other points. For example, the teams are approximately in the same skill tier and are regular rivals in various Tier-2 tournaments.

For instance, they faced each other in different championships from CCT, where they met in both playoffs and group stages.

It is also worth remembering that Monte's coach, Sergiy LMBT Bejanov, previously trained the FORZE team in 2020, and now he plays against his former protégés.

The most frustrating thing here is that while russian rockets are flying into Sergiy's house, his former players remain silent. To be silent means to support.
