3 days have passed since the end of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, and the next Major has already been announced today.

ESL has reported that the next Major tournament will be held in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament will be called IEM Rio and will be the first Major to be held in South America. Previously, such events were held only in Europe and North America.

IEM Rio will be held in Jeunesse Arena with a capacity of 15,000-22,000. The prize pool will stay the same and will amount to $ 1,000,000. However, the distribution of prize moneyhas been changed, now all participants will receive money to the detriment of the teams that will take the first places.
