TL's adreN to miss PGL Major Stockholm

A heavy blow to the lineup.

Shortly after winning BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, Team Liquid have announced that they are going to play in Stockholm at the PGL Major without their head coach, “adreN”.

The North American coach cited his desire to be with his wife during the birth of their first child, which was understandably accepted by the organization and the team itself. Despite it hurting Team Liquid’s chances of adapting on the fly, a well-experienced unit with “jokasteve” capable of taking timeouts and providing some ideas during the breaks, is unlikely to struggle during the Swiss system.

It remains to be seen, however, if TL are going to be the big title contender as some expect them to be, but Team Liquid will start their run towards the coveted Major championship in the second round, as they have enough time to prepare even with those conditions being met.
