When compiling the list of the top 20 CS:GO players in 2022, we analyzed the statistics of more than a hundred esports athletes who played many matches exclusively in tier-1 competitions. We considered the player's rating, the average values of KDR, DPR, and ADR, individual values (MVP and EVP), and prize places at tournaments. For each indicator, players were awarded points. The sum of the points affected the final position in the rating.

Assessing a player in a CS:GO match is a challenging task. Each game consists of at least 16 rounds, each unique in many parameters, for example, whether a bomb was planted or which team made an open kill. Therefore, the best solution is to calculate the player's rating in each round and get a total score for the map.
We are confident that bo3.gg has the most accurate rating that allows you to quickly and conveniently assess the results of each player in each round, map, and match. At the same time, for the first time in the history of CS:GO, the rating takes into account such indicators as the party, the economy, and many other factors that previously remained in the shadows.

On the other hand, entering the CS:GO Hall of Fame is achievable if Osipov continues to enhance his skills.

Only some things went so smoothly for ZywOo this year. He almost uncompromisingly looked the best in 2019, similarly in 2020. Then there was NAVI with modest results from Vitality, and 2022 also turned out to be very average. It is possible to get the highest rating of 6.8. But more than this rating and a single MVP title is needed to become the best this year. It is not possible to leave one individual rating. So, he got only the fourth position at the top.

Broky, a 21-year-old Latvian athlete who was not particularly outstanding before, spent the best part of his career for FaZe in the year's first half. This is expressed in four championships and personal achievements in the form of two MVP medals: the same number as the first place at our top.
On the other hand, the rating of 6.5 could be more impressive: it was barely enough to squeeze into the top ten players by this indicator in the last 12 months. But, on the other hand, it confirms how good FaZe was as a team and that the team didn't have to rely on a superstar of the ZywOo's or s1mple's caliber.

This year for s1mple was less successful than 2021. The Ukrainian cyber sportsman lost in the individual plan, and Natus Vincere's team results deteriorated. First, the war, then there were changes in the composition and the post of captain. As a result, coherence in team actions has faltered. At the end of the year, NAVI tried to play with the representative of the club's academy, Andrey npl Kuharsky.
This year, Kostyliev had to be satisfied with only two medals for the best player of the tournament, compared to 7 in the past, which he received for his performance at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022. In total, s1mple took place in the top 3 of Major tournaments four times.
Of course, it is impossible not to note the rating of 6.8. In 2022, only three athletes could reach it, including s1mple himself. However, it was enough to get the title of the year's best player.
