Vici Gaming qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

Vici Gaming qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

First Chinese team to do so.

Another team at the Showdown.

As the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown is going to feature teams from all over the world for the first time, it was about time to host a Chinese qualifier, as Douyu Fall Cup 2021 did exactly that.

The usual suspects to win every title in the Chinese CS:GO, Vici Gaming and TYLOO ran into each other in the semifinals, as VG won both Overpass and Mirage with the same “16-12” scoreline, clearing the path to the finals against Lynn Vision. There it was even less of a competition, as Vici Gaming started both Ancient and Nuke with a “11-4” advantage for themselves, losing only seventeen rounds combined across both maps for a convincing “2-0” set win.

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will be at least second international tournament for Vici Gaming in Europe after they have attended IEM Cologne 2021 and in the meantime, team is still in contention for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 slot, as the results of IEM Fall 2021 are going to decide if Vici Gaming are going to return to the Major circuit.
