IEM Cologne 2022 CS:GO organizers do a draw for Play-In. The CIS region will be represented by Virtus.pro and Team Spirit at this tournament stage. Both teams will face Imperial Esports and Complexity Gaming in the first round of the Play-In. In general, 16 teams will participate in the Play-In stage. They were divided into the Double-Elimination bracket. The eight best teams in this part of the championship will be transferred to the championship group stage.
