Vitality sweep OG, to the EPL S14 finals

The first ESL Pro League Season 14 semifinal featured OG, who were yet to lose a single match during the event and Team Vitality, as the Frenchmen managed to upset Gambit Esports in the quarterfinals.

Going to Mirage, OG started with four straight rounds out of the gate, but Team Vitality not only equalized the score, but closed the half with a three rounds lead. Back and forth in the second half, Vitality controlled the pace until the end, and despite OG’s late rally, closed the map out, “16-12”. Moving to Nuke, teams were tied at “3-3”, but after a furious streak by Team Vitality, it was a seven rounds lead for the French squad. The European team secured a pistol round but got instantly reset in the following one, opening the path for Team Vitality to close the game out, “16-7”, “2-0”.

Now OG will prepare for the BLAST Premier Fall group stage and the following IEM Fall to guarantee themselves a berth at the PGL Major Stockholm, while Team Vitality will face the winner of Natus Vincere-Heroic semifinal in the EPL S14 grand final.
