Vitality start Intel Grand Slam season winning IEM Winter 2021

Vitality have taken their first trophy of the year and ESL confirmed that they have also won the first tournament of the fourth season of Intel Grand Slam.

Intel Grand Slam is the grand prize for teams, who consistently win big events hosted by ESL. Intel Grand Slam was taken by three teams in the world. These are Astralis, Liquid and NaVi, who is the last team to take the Grand Slam in September 2021. The prize for taking Intel Grand Slam is $1,000,000.

The fourth season of Intel Grand Slam has already started and the rules were adjusted. To win the Grand Slam team need to win three ESL Pro Tour Master Events (IEM China, IEM Dallas, or ESL Pro League) and one Championship (IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, or Major run by ESL) out of 10 last ESL-run events.

The next tournament to be a part of Intel Grand Slam is IEM Katowice.

All confirmed events to be part of the fourth season of Intel Grand Slam are IEM Winter 2021 (Vitality), IEM Katowice (February 16-27), ESL Pro League Season 15 (March 9 – April 10), ESL Major (rumor), IEM Dallas (May 31 – June 5), IEM Cologne (July 5-17), ESL Pro League Season 16 (August 31 – October 2), IEM China (December 6-11).
