Vitality win IEM Winter 2021

IEM Winter 2021 has come to a close and the champion is decided. Vitality destroyed NIP in the last match of the tournament.

The first map was picked by NIP but Vitality were much more confident on this Inferno. The first half was competitive but the French team fully dominated the CT side and finished the map with a score of 16-10.

Dust 2 was the same. The first half looked competitive but Vitality came back on the CT side and won the map with a score of 16-10.

The last map was Nuke and it was the most interesting map of the match. Teams looked equal and couldn’t make a round-winning streak. However, Vitality were a bit stronger and finished the map with a score of 16-13 to win the Grand Final.

It is the first trophy for the French team in 2021. In addition, they gained $100,000.

Vitality and NIP might meet again at Blast Premier World Final 2021, which will start on December 14th.
