forZe brush VP aside, one step closer to EPL S14 playoffs
CIS rivalries are still going strong.
CIS derby has delivered once again.
2021, more known as a year of CIS in CS:GO, featured many memorable battles between local rivals and Virtus.pro-forZe clash could be the next in the line. Especially considering the fact that VP absolutely needed a win after getting trounced by OG, while forZe, the last minute replacement for Renegades, have already secured a victory against Complexity Gaming on Saturday.
Going to Mirage, forZe showed once again why is it considered as their best map, as “Jerry” and crew put up a show with twelve rounds on the offence and an overall “16-7”. forZe looked to close things out on Dust2, being up “11-8” but VP improved their defence just in time for a “16-13” victory to even things out. Back and forth on Overpass, teams switched sides with a narrow “8-7” lead by forZe and despite late heroics from “buster”, closed the game out “16-12” for a second “2-1” series win in a row.
On Tuesday forZe can guarantee themselves a playoff berth in a match against OG, another undefeated team in group B, while VP will absolutely need a win against a tenacious Sinners Esports squad, which already showed their class against G2 Esports in the first round of ESL Pro League Season 14.
