S1mple After NAVI's Entry Into the Playoffs of IEM Rio 2023: "We Don't Make Stupid Mistakes Anymore"

The sniper of the NAVI Olexander s1mple Kostyliev gave a short interview after the IEM Rio 2023 playoffs, in which he talked about the state of affairs in the team, about the new teammate, and the worst and best maps of the team.

"We no longer make stupid mistakes. Npl, as he said, began to understand the ideas of Blade and Elektronik much better. So we feel that we are strong.
We just need to strengthen the individual level. In terms of strategies and preparation for opponents, everything is working. We have a strong map pool.

Our worst maps are Mirage and Nuke. Once these were the best, we now have other maps we have been training for a long. Every player feels we have a good team now" - s1mple.

Let us remind you that the born winners played their first two matches yesterday and qualified for the IEM Rio 2023 playoffs.

In the first match, they beat TheMongolz team 1:0, and in the second, they met NIP and, with little effort, won 2:0.

If you look at the team's statistics for the last three months, Mirage and Nuke are the worst maps of the team. The team played eight times on Mirage and won only in 50% of cases. The team played six times on Nuke, and it was even worse, as they won only two games.

But if you look at the team's best map, Ancient, the guys won 8 out of 9 matches.

Tomorrow at 7:30 PM, Natus Vincere will meet with BIG in the final of group A. They will decide which team will immediately advance to the semifinals and who will attend the tournament quarterfinals.
