Fnatic Rising clinch last spot at WePlay AL S1 LAN

LAN finals are set

New hopes deliver early for Fnatic Rising.

Going against a red-hot “m0NESY” and his NAVI Junior, Fnatic Rising had their hands full preparing for the match. However, international team, which announced the roster few days before WePlay Academy League Season 1 start, showed up in spades and booked last spot at the LAN final.

Going to Overpass, Fnatic Rising opted into an offensive side start and ran a variety of start, reminiscent of their main team. NAVI Junior’s star was holding his end of the bargain, ending the game as the top player on the server, but Fnatic Rising were the ones with a better team effort, closing the map “16-12” despite CIS team late comeback effort.

Switching to Ancient, it looked like third game is nearly inevitable, as NAVI Junior put up nine rounds on their offence, but Fnatic Rising were not ready to tap out. Quickly jumping to a “13-10” lead after the switch, teams traded rounds back and forth with “Peppzor” closing it out with a massive clutch in the end to put his squad into the finals.

Fnatic Rising will face mouz NXT in the first round of LAN finals, wihle BIG Academy are going to go against Young Ninjas - double elimination bracket is going to start in Kyiv, on August, 27th!
