WePlay Academy League Season 2 is announced

The much needed competition.

Good news from the CS:GO circuit.

WePlay Academy League Season 1 was a success, as mouz NXT were crowned as the champions of the inaugural edition of the competition. It was not the last one, however, as WePlay announced that Season 2 is going to begin this year!

The same eight teams, namely mousesports, Fnatic, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, BIG, FURIA Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis will field their academy lineups to compete in the group stage and then playoffs. First stage will begin on September 28th and last until October 9th, as the four best teams will advance to the LAN finals in Kyiv on November 12th to 14th.

Big news are that NAVI Junior will not only field arguably the biggest rising star in the world, “m0NESY”, but “flamie” as well, as it is going to be the last event for the Russian in the Natus Vincere jersey, where he played for the last six years.
