Imperial have secured a slot in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024

Imperial after winning the Thunderpick World Championship 2024: South American Series #1 took place at Thunderpick World Championship 2024 with a prize pool of $850,000.

During the tournament, Imperial managed to overcome KRU Esports, BESTIA, Fluxo and defeated 9z Team in the grand final. It should be added that they did not lose a single card before the grand final, winning three times with a score of 2-0. The grand final started with Dust 2, the choice of 9z, who despite losing the pistol round and losing several key rounds were able to come back and win the first half 7-5, and after winning the second pistol round, they completely began to control the game in defense, winning 5 to a row, and in turn won their choice with a score of 13-6.

Mirage started with similar dominance, but this time from Imperial, who won all the key rounds and won the offense with a score of 7-5. The second pistol round was also won by them, but despite this they lost the next round, giving 9z the opportunity to swing with them. After the lost round, Imperial gathered their thoughts and showed strategic skill and won with a mirror score of 13-6, securing Anubis as the last and adding to the heat of the match.

Anubis started right away in favor of Imperial, who won 8 out of 9 rounds, winning 5 in a row, while 9z could only take 3, ending the half with a score of 8-4. The second pistol round, as well as the next 3, were taken by Imperial, who eventually won 13-5, securing the match with a score of 2-1.

Thanks to this victory, they earned a place in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 and $20,000. VINI became the best player of the tournament, finishing it with a rating of 7.2.

Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will start on October 1, 2024, it is not yet known whether it will be held online or in LAN format, the prize pool of the tournament is $850,000. Imperial's opponents will be BLEED and 14 other teams, 10 of which will be invited later, and 4 from the following qualifiers.
