KennyS has partnered with NextGenZ to release a workshop skin

Kenny “kennyS” Schrub is a professional CS:GO player who has played for such clubs as G2, Titan, Team LDLC and others. As a member of EnVyUs, he won the DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015 Major and earned $742,000 during his career. Finished his career after playing in Falcons and is now their streamer.

NextGenZ is a skinmaker who posted his first skin on Workshop in December 2013, just 4 months after the skin feature was introduced. During his time, he has added collections such as Cyrex, Monster Mashup, Nightwish, and Desert Strike to the game. It was an obvious move for him to constantly strive to bring something new to the game, so collaborating with a legendary player was an obvious move for him.

The idea of creating a skin appeared to the designer in May 2023, after which he was able to contact kennyS and began to think about the design and realize it. And already in May they presented the skin on AWP, kennyS'a's crowning weapon during his time on the professional scene.

This skin has the name AWP MagicLight, based on the name has a lightning bolt and the weapon itself in blue color and the most notable and most important on the bolt is visible inscription “Magic Stick”, in CS:GO was the ability to change the name of the weapon and kennyS called all his AWPs with this name and the most crowned was AWP Asiimov with such a nym tag.
