South American giants 9z have secured a spot at IEM Dallas after a thrilling performance in the South American Closed Qualifier.

Even though FURIA was victorious on 9z's map of choice, Nuke, the Argentine team showed resilience. Thanks to the strong play of Franco dgt Garcia, max and Antonio MartinezSa Martinez, they took victories on Mirage (13-8) and Ancient (13-11) in a thrilling finish.

This victory comes at a crucial time for 9z, who have faced criticism after failing to qualify for the ESL Pro League and PGL Major in Copenhagen.
