All participants of IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In have been decided
The final set of teams has been announced.
ESL has returned with an important announcement. The lineup of IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In has been decided.
The first eight invites were acquired by the teams who performed in qualifiers. These teams are NIP, Astralis, FaZe, GODSENT, Extra Salt, Renegades, TYLOO, MIBR. Another spot was the first prize at ESL Polish Championship Autumn 2021 Finals. This slot is occupied by Wisla Krakow.
There were 7 spots left and ESL decided to invite the best teams from two regions according to ESL Global Ranking. It was updated on Monday determining the last teams to attend IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In. CIS region will be presented by Entropiq, who were the best CIS team in the ranking outside of NaVi, Gambit, and Virtus.pro, who are already invited to the Main stage. All other teams are from the European region. These teams are OG, fnatic, Copenhagen Flames, ENCE, BIG, MOUZ.
IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In starts on February 15th.
