arrozdoce:"We are coming back to do better"

Rafael arrozdoce Wing, one of the youngest players in the tournament, gave his perspective on SAW's struggles in an interview with HLTV, admitting that the pressure of potentially qualifying for the next stage could have affected their performance.

SAW started the Major with two confident victories over KOI and GamerLegion, entering the coveted pool 2-0. But having reached the best-of-three series, it became clear that the team was not ready for such pressure.

The Portuguese team SAW ended its participation in the major, losing to FURIA in the best-of-three series at the Challengers stage.

Every time we finish an official, we have a lot of talks, we fix many errors. Even if we win a round or a game, there are still errors, and we try to fix them. The team is very happy with what we accomplished, we are going to have the days off, like I said, and we are coming back to do better.

  

Despite the elimination, Arrozdoce said the team had learned lessons from the event and were committed to success in future international tournaments.

SAW will now focus on the BLAST Premier Spring Final, which will be their next major international tournament.
