B1ad3: "You Need to Be a Professional And Always Know How to Enter a "Combat" State And Not Fall Into Tilt"

NAVI coach Andrey B1ad3 Gorodensky spoke about the choice of maps in the match against Heroic in the EPL S16 playoffs and an extremely long technical pause.

[About choosing Overpass as the deciding card]
Heroic is an excellent team on Nuke. We knew they would choose Overpass. We had confidence in this map, especially in our defence. We understood that we could shoot Heroic on Overpass if we were in shape. This map is a little different from the rest. It is large, meaning there are few close duels on it. In the duels during the match, we felt more confident than the opponent.

[About the prolonged technical pause]

It's very hard for any player. We were on tilt after the round when jabbi killed three on the banana on Inferno. In training before the game, we worked hard with the psychologist to constantly be in the optimal "combat state". You need to be a professional and always know how to enter this state.

Recall that the match against Heroic ended in victory for NAVI, and on the 30th of September the team will play against G2 in the quarterfinals.
