Bymas from Into The Breach got a VAC ban on his main account

Today, rifler Aurimas Bymas Pipiras of the team Into The Breach received a VAC ban on his main account. The player announced this on his Twitter.

At the time of receiving the ban, he had accumulated over 11,000 hours in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Counter-Strike 2. The total value of his inventory amounted to $17,200.

Throughout his career, Bymas has played in several major LAN championships, so it makes no sense to accuse him of using cheats. In fact, the situation is much simpler.

Throughout December 5, VAC has been banning players for no apparent reason. Many have lost inventories worth tens of thousands of dollars. Apparently, with the new update, Valve has somewhat broken VAC, and now it is banning random players without any reason. Over two thousand accounts have already been caught in the wave of bans.

However, there's a peculiar aspect of this ban: banned players can still transfer skins. This is strange because previously VAC also imposed a ban on skins.
