Carpe Diem Returns to Counter-Strike with Unjustified Core

Team Carpe Diem is making a comeback in the esports scene with a new lineup. Colby "Walco" Walsh, who recently left Evil Geniuses, has announced the revival of Carpe Diem along with Jerrick "wiz" Jian and the core of the Unjustified team. They are resurrecting the brand under which Walco and wiz played in 2022.

Carpe Diem has inherited Unjustified's spot in the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR closed qualifier, aiming to make it to the first CS2 LAN in Monterrey. Initially formed after the disbanding of team RBG in 2022, Carpe Diem had shown excellent results, including a second-place finish in the 40th season of the ESL Challenger League.

Carpe Diem will now compete with a new lineup, where former RBG player Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield, as well as Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich and Mason "Leak" Sanderson from Unjustified, have joined Walco and wiz.

The team decided not to continue collaboration with Unjustified and focus on preparing for the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR. The new Carpe Diem lineup is as follows:

  • Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich
  • Mason "Leak" Sanderson
  • Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
  • Colby "Walco" Walsh
  • Jerrick "wiz" Jian
