CCT Unveils $500,000 Global Finals with Top Teams Competing Online

CCT is set to conclude its 2023/2024 season with the highly anticipated Global Finals, featuring a $500,000 prize pool. This online competition, running from May 16-24, will see sixteen elite teams vying for the prestigious title and a significant share of the prize money.

Among the contenders are eleven teams that have earned their spots through CCT's Studio and Online Finals circuit, alongside five teams that will receive direct invitations. However, the final lineup is subject to adjustments, as some qualified teams may face challenges in fielding a complete roster.

The tournament's format will consist of four GSL groups, leading to a single-elimination playoff bracket where eight teams will battle it out for the championship.

Fabian Logemann, Head of Tournament Operations at GRID, CCT's tournament commissioner and data partner, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming finals:

The CCT 2022/2023 season was a massive undertaking, and the reception by the community was incredibly rewarding and humbling. We’re excited to cap off the first Tour with Global Finals in May and we can’t wait to put on a show to crown the Champion of Champions.
