IKLA CEO Clashes with PERA Coach Over Cheating Accusations

The scandal in the world of professional esports is gaining momentum as the CEO of the Ukrainian organization IKLA, Maksym Bednarskiy, accused the PERA team of using third-party software during the qualifiers for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. Despite this accusation, PERA coach Lajos "SZLOBESZKOV" Sloboda responded to the IKLA CEO.

The accusation of PERA's cheating became known after a tweet by Maksym Bednarskiy, where he stated that his team IKLA had reviewed game recordings and identified several suspicious moments, which, according to him, indicate the use of cheats by the PERA team. He also reached out to Valve, disclosing this situation and calling it absurd.

In response to these accusations, PERA coach SZLOBESZKOV countered with allegations against Maksym Bednarskiy, reminding of past scandals associated with him, including his work with Ukrainian organizations HellRaisers and Windigo. The coach also assured that PERA recorded videos with cameras pointed at players during games against other teams to prove their honesty.

However, Bednarskiy disagreed and stated that he was confident that PERA cheated:

I know your team was cheating. You know this and Kamion knows this ;) so yeah you have no future in this game I have no interest in talking to cheaters in twitter.
Maksym Bednarskiy

Eventually, IKLA left the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European Qualifier B with a score of 1:3, losing in the decisive match to Heroic. PERA still has a chance to advance to the RMR through the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR Decider, where they will face ECSTATIC.
