ENCE coach suggests his version of changing bo1 in the pro scene

ENCE coach Jakub “kuben” Gurczyński has suggested abandoning the current bo1 format, which is played in MR12 format. He claims that best-of-one series should last longer.

Jakub believes that for bo1, it would be possible to revert to MR15, to level the "randomness" of such matches. MR12, in turn, should be left in bo3 as it is.

What do people think about playing bo1 in MR15 format, but bo3 in MR12? I think this will minimize the randomness of best-of-1, as in case of a tough start, you will get a few more rounds towards the end of the half.

Kuben's idea is particularly relevant in terms of the fact that the CS2 economy hasn't changed after reducing the number of rounds for victory. This led to pistol rounds becoming even more important, and the space for comebacks during the match became smaller. Because of this, various pro players suggested Valve make adjustments to the balance.
