BLINK, Anonymo, DBL PONEY, AGO win in ESEA S38 playoffs

Eight teams still in a race.

First day of the tournament.

In the battle for the coveted spot at ESL Pro League Season 15, eight best teams during the ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe clashed in playoffs to find out the winner.

BLINK, who have surprised many by winning group A, took down Wisla Krakow in consecutive maps on Overpass and Mirage with the same “16-12” scoreline, moving to the second round in the upper bracket. Facing them there will be Anonymo Esports and their rebuilt lineup, as the Poles managed to beat Sangal Esports on Inferno “16-9” before adding a “16-8” Mirage win to the “2-0” scoreline. In a French derby, DBL PONEY took down LDLC in a yet another clean sweep, winning both Inferno, “16-9” and Vertigo, “16-6”, moving one step closer to the first place. Last but not least, an updated AGO Gaming lineup faced off against Sprout and secured the fourth “2-0” of the day, as they outlasted their opponents on Ancient, “22-20” and then finished the set on Vertigo, “16-9”.

All eight teams are still in contention, as the event is going to continue tomorrow and in the coming days.
