ESL has officially announced the playoffs for the final stage of ESL Challenger League Season 46: North America, where ten qualified teams will participate. The teams will compete not only for a prize pool of $100,000 but also for two spots in ESL Pro League Season 19.
The tournament will be conducted in a double-elimination format, where four teams from lower positions will start from the lower bracket. In the playoffs, the winners of the first upper bracket matches will play against the teams M80 and BOSS, while the losing teams will meet the winners from the lower bracket.
All matches, except for the grand final, will be played in a BO3 format. The grand final, which will be in a BO5 format, will allow the team from the upper bracket to have a one-map advantage by default.
The finalists of ESL Challenger League Season 46: North America will receive $35,000 and $20,000 in prize money, respectively. Additionally, the top two teams will secure their spots in ESL Pro League Season 19 and ESL Challenger League Season 47: North America. The next EPL will again be held in Malta, but will last only two weeks and have a smaller prize pool than the previous season - $750,000.
