Evil Geniuses have disbanded their main roster
Last night, the American organization Evil Geniuses announced the disbanding of their main roster, which last claimed first place in tournaments in 2020!
While each of you became Geniuses at different times, you were all important pieces to our Counter-Strike legacy.

After disbanding their main roster, which looked like this:
From the previous roster, only 1 player remains - Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who often switched between teams. But now their place will be taken by the guys from Evil Geniuses Black:
When did EG win their last tournament?
For more than half a year, there have been discussions in the community that EG are simply wasting their money on a "dead" roster. The team has four different rosters and none of them shine on the professional scene.

The last time EG took 1st place at a major tournament was the distant 2020, specifically ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - North America.
A little earlier they also won BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals.
However, the team's latest performances have been a sheer nightmare. Consider such statistics:
- BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: American RMR (9-12th place)
- ESL Pro League Season 17 (29-32nd place)
- Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2023 (13-16th place)
- Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 (21-24th place)
This list could continue long back to 2020 when the team was still at the top. With the new lineup, everything may change, but analysts do not believe in such a reshuffle. They think that the team urgently needs to buy players who are still available in this transfer window.
The next tournament for Evil Geniuses will take place in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. Specifically, the BLAST Premier Groups Fall 2023 with a prize pool of $177,500 and two invites to the Fall Finals and two to the Fall Showdown!
