Farlig replaces Lucky in Astralis

Astralis made an expected change to the roster.

Astralis didn’t manage to qualify for the playoff of IEM Katowice and Blast Premier Spring Final, which was disappointing for the fans of the team. The changes to the roster were expected.

Astralis announced the signing of Asger "Farlig" Jensen. He will replace Philip "Lucky" Ewald and take the AWPer role on the roster. This change was expected as Lucky was underperforming at three events in a row and was one of the reasons Astralis failed these tournaments.

Farlig was previously playing for FunPlus Phoenix in 2021. However, the organization left CS:GO, and the contracts with the players were terminated not long ago. So, Astralis got their new sniper on a free transfer and might have chosen him much earlier and were waiting for his contract to expire.

The future of Lucky is foggy as he still has an active contract with the Danish organization.

Current Astralis roster: Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Asger "Farlig" Jensen, Alexander "ave" Holdt (coach).
