faveN has left BIG

BIG has officially confirmed that Josef "faveN" Baumann is leaving the organization's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The 23-year-old German player spent the last seven months on the bench.

faveN has been a part of BIG since December 2021 and made a mark by winning the Roobet Cup 2022 and participating in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. His last performance for the team was in May 2023 at the CCT Online Finals 1. During his tenure, Josef helped the organization win around $430,000 in prize money.

Here's how the player commented on his departure:

Thank you BIG for the time we spent together! I want to thank every person I played with during my stay at BIG. It was very pleasant. From now on, I will have a different chapter, and I am eagerly looking forward to the future! THANK YOU!

faveN left BIG's main roster during the summer break of 2023 in the course of the team's update. After that, he announced a short break from competitions due to the birth of his child, planning to return to the professional arena after an adaptation period.

Recently, faveN helped the German national team to finish second at the IESF World Esports Championship 2023 and also played for BIG Academy in the closed qualifier for the CCT East Europe Series 4. BIG announced that faveN will join a new organization, but it is not yet known which one specifically.
