Fluxo Triumphs Over Imperial to Become RES Latin America Champions

Fluxo, led by Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves, emerged victorious in the RES Latin America #1, clinching the title by defeating Imperial with a 2-0 scoreline. The intense matches on Nuke and Mirage showcased the team's skill and determination, earning them a prize of US$ 25,000.

 
 

The first map, Nuke, was a nail-biter, ending the first half tied at 6-6. The second half mirrored the first, with both teams claiming six rounds each, pushing the game into overtime. Fluxo clinched the win with a final score of 16-14.

Mirage, the second map in the series, saw Fluxo taking an early lead with an 8-4 score at halftime. They continued their dominance in the second half, securing a 13-4 victory. This win not only crowned Fluxo as the champions of RES Latin America #1 but also awarded them a significant prize of US$ 25,000.

Imperial, despite their valiant effort, finished in second place and will receive a consolation prize of US$ 15,000 . The tournament highlighted the competitive spirit and talent within the Latin American Counter-Strike scene, with Fluxo's victory marking a significant achievement for the team and its members.
